Find and Replace Dialog

Used to search and replace items listed in the Results list box in the Clash Detection dialog's Results tab or in the Details Dialog .

You can access this dialog from the following:

Clash Detection dialog: on the Results tab, right-click the header row of the Results list box and select Find
Clash Detection dialog: on the Results tab, right-click a clash and select either Find or Replace

Options in the dialog vary on whether you select the Find or Replace button at the top of the dialog.

Setting	Description
Find	Only shows the Find options available in the dialog.
Replace	Shows both the Find and Replace options available in the dialog.
Find What	Searches for the text you have entered in the entry box.
Arrow Button	Displays a list of special characters that can be used to search for variable forms of text. Selecting one of the list items adds it to the contents of the Find what text box.
Replace With	Specifies the replacement string that replaces the search string in the Find field.
Find Options	Displays the advanced search features. Match case — If on, matches the exact string specified as search criteria. Performs a case-sensitive search of your search string; that is, finds only text with the same capitalization as the text in the Find field. Search selected cells — If on, only the selected cells are searched. Before opening the dialog, you can select multiple cells by pressing and holding down the `<Ctrl>` key and selecting the cells. Match entire cell contents — If on, the contents of a cell will be located only if its entire contents match the text string.
Find Next	Locates the next instance of the text.
Replace	Replaces the found text in the currently highlighted element with the replacement string.
Replace All	Replaces all the specified text elements.
